Description
The first part of the trilogy The Shadow of the Raven. Vélin Al Sorna, initiated into the Sixth Order, was trained from childhood for combat and killing in the service of the Faith. The Order became his only family. Vélin's father served as a knight to King Janus, the ruler of the United Kingdom, but decided to strip Vélin of his rights and left him at the threshold of the Sixth Order at just ten years old. The boy hates him for it. During his time in the Order, Vélin learns previously unknown details about his mother, who died when he was still a child. He gradually also uncovers the reasons that led his father to entrust him to the Order. One truth, however, is more important than all the others: Vélin Al Sorna has a future ahead of him that he has yet to understand. A future that will change not only the kingdom but also the entire world.
