Description
The peak novel work of Jaroslav Durych (1886—1962). As an uncompromisingly conservative Catholic, Durych was an opponent of liberal democracy and often returned to the Baroque in his work. "Wandering," first published in 1929, has yet to receive a reliable critical edition despite its fame. A new edition has been prepared by a team that participated in the publication of Durych's "Servants of the Useless" (Argo 1996). The volume contains all three parts of Durych's text and detailed commentary. Edition and commentary by Martin Valášek and Jan Linka.
