Description

A year later, he is found in a vineyard in southwestern France, dressed in the crimson robe of the Order of the Divine Bottle, an organization dedicated to promoting Gaillac wines. Tied to a cross, he stood like a morbid scarecrow among the rows of ripe vines and had apparently been preserved in red wine the whole time. Petty's murderer was never caught.
