Description
This Czech-language road-safety textbook is updated in line with the current road traffic law and the Czech Framework Educational Programme for Basic Education. It is divided into five chapters, each corresponding to instruction in one year of the first stage of primary school: road traffic for first grade, safety on pavements and roads for second grade, rules of conduct on pavements, roadways and in residential zones for third grade, bicycle safety for fourth grade, and walking, driving and travelling according to the rules for fifth grade. The textbook has Ministry of Education approval. An electronic teacher’s guide accompanies the printed book, offering methodological guidance, additional teaching ideas and solutions to the exercises and activities. Teachers can also find photocopiable worksheets with selected activities and pupil assessment sheets in the appendix. Electronic supplements are available at flexibooks.cz.
