The teacher's guide allows for the full utilization of the textbook and workbook. It contains specific prompts for working with the curriculum, offers various recommendations, and presents a range of supplementary activities. Solutions to exercises from both the workbook and the textbook can be found within. It deepens the teacher's professional background in both history and particularly in the applied connections to other subjects. It facilitates the creation of lesson plans by highlighting interdisciplinary relationships and the inclusion of cross-cutting themes. It provides a proposal for a time-themed plan for the relevant school year, including hourly allocations. It supports the fulfillment of the main mission of history teaching – to cultivate the historical awareness of boys and girls; to help them develop empathy and ideas that will enable them to penetrate the understanding of historical phenomena and events, as well as contribute to shaping their positive value system based on historical experience. All of this is in the spirit of Benedict Spinoza's thesis: 'I did not laugh at human actions, nor did I lament over them or despise them, but I sought to understand them.'
