Description
The plot can be paraphrased with the well-known saying about entering a river twice: 'You cannot step into the same river twice, and even if you do, it won't help anyone, and it will only harm you!' This is the realization of the story's hero, who manages to seep from the present into his own past during the gray era of Husák, while his young alter ego from the period of real socialism finds itself reciprocally in today's world. The setting of the story is a Moravian university town frozen in the gray of real socialism, just like the capital of the world proletariat and the distant steppes of the Soviet empire. It is colorfully illustrated by Milan Valenta.
