Musí být ekologie alarmistická? - Hledání realistických odpovědí – Vondra Alexandr (2020)

The Czech political right must have its own 'green' policy. In recent years, this imperative has either been carelessly neglected or shamefully ignored. This is a mistake for three reasons. First, it is an ideological mistake, as caring for nature and its protection is an eminently conservative issue. Second, it is a strategic mistake, as the right has vacated the field with its disinterest and opened up space for the engineering and paternalistic machinations of the political left, which stifles human freedom without benefiting nature. And third, it is a tactical mistake, as there is a lively and legitimate demand in society for green policies that touch on natural human needs and desires. The essence of green conservative politics is simple. Its mission is not to set man against nature, nor to wax poetic about 'Mother Earth', let alone spread pessimism and apocalyptic pseudoreligion that rejects civilization and condemns humanity.
