Description
The play by Austrian dramatist Schnitzler from the late 19th century is a portrait of Vienna in its time, similar to the works of painters Klimt and Schiele. It waited a long time for its premiere, which was understood as a great scandal. It consists of ten dialogues between men and women from all social classes, which always end in sex. Beneath the 'love dialogues' lies a sharply critical view of society in many forms. The play, still provocative and relevant today, is published in the translation by J. Balvín as the 176th volume of the D series.
