Tramvaj do stanice touha – Tennessee Williams (2020)

The pinnacle work of modern American psychological drama from 1947. The story set in the post-war French Quarter of New Orleans follows the deeply internal life of the sensitive and illusion-filled Blanche DuBois, who arrives to visit her vital sister Stella, who has married the primitive brute Stanley Kowalski. At the moment when the woman marked by the death of her homosexual husband thinks she has found happiness in a new relationship, all her illusions come crashing down. The play, translated by R. and L. Pellar, is published as the 93rd volume in the D series.
