Description
Little Matyáš doesn't know exactly what a squirrel looks like. He drew it with polka dots, but his daddy didn't like that at all. And especially, Matyáš's great-grandfather Eman wouldn't have liked it. He grew up in a gamekeeper's lodge and considered the forest animals his friends. Matyáš's daddy decides to tell his son about everything great-grandpa experienced when he was still little Emánek. Back then, squirrels Dita, Rita, and Zita were jumping on the branches, a hare named Bojan was racing across the meadow, and a curious little bird named Jarabáček was fluttering above them all. And the means of transportation looked completely different than today.
