Description
The collection Guess Who I Am is the second collection by the young, talented poet Filip Skoumal. It primarily deals with infatuation and relationships with women. The author praises their beauty, sometimes painfully crying out over unrequited love, and at times reflects on family relationships and tragic life situations related to them. He plays with several types of verses, and this time, unlike his debut collection Anger on the Shore of Life, free verse does not prevail. He draws inspiration from the places he has visited, but many poems are also inspired by musical styles (atmospheric black, doom, or industrial metal), as music plays a significant role in his life and work.
