Description
Newspapers, magazines, and book publications that were released between 1939 and 1945 during the so-called Protectorate and in Czech abroad are characterized by literary historian Jiří Brabec in their basic direction, circle of collaborators, and through examples of defining contributions. The book consists of alphabetically arranged monographic entries. The spiritual climate of the wartime period is composed of daily newspapers, periodicals focused on politics, entertainment, scientific or religious enlightenment, or magazines dedicated to various forms of art. In addition to collections, anthologies, and almanacs from domestic and exile publishers, it also presents the works of collaborators celebrating the occupying administration and spreading anti-Semitism.
