Description
From February 5 to June 17, 2004, Ivan Matoušek read his novel Spas over the course of twenty evenings. The author readings took place in the tower of the Prague palace of Lažanských and were organized by the Triáda publishing house in collaboration with the Department of Screenwriting and Dramaturgy at FAMU. On the occasion of the fifteenth anniversary of this event, a recording of Matoušek's complete reading is being released, accompanied by a brochure containing diary entries by Ivan Matoušek from that time, memories of the reading participants, photographic documentation, and other supplementary materials. - The texts were written by Džian Baban, Karolina Jirkalová, Michal Kosák, Hana Kosáková, Robert Krumphanzl, Vojtěch Mašek, Ivan Matoušek, Ivana Matoušková, and Jiří Soukup. The photographs were taken by Ivana Matoušková. Appendix: A forty-hour recording of the complete text of the novel as read by Ivan Matoušek.
