A small and refined prayer book for children contains the prayers Our Father, Hail Mary, and Angel of God, my guardian angel, accompanied by embroidered collages by Alena Brožová. This illustrator, with rich pedagogical experience, uses various types of fabrics and lace to create collages, processing them by hand into the desired images. Some speak more through symbols (dove, sun, heart), while others are 'narrative' illustrations of what is said in the text of the prayer. The artistic treatment far exceeds the level at which other religious texts for children are illustrated and presented. The 'textility' of this book evokes a feeling of safety, coziness, and wholeness.
