Česky krok za krokem 2 - Pracovní sešit 11-20 – Malá Zdena (2016)

The second part of the Workbook by author Zdena Malá for the textbook Czech Step by Step 2 (Lída Holá, Pavla Bořilová) brings additional exercises for lessons 11–20. For each lesson, it offers a variety of activities to practice the communication skills, vocabulary, and grammar covered. The structure of the publication is similar to the first part. For better orientation, there are again markers next to the exercises indicating the page and the exercise in the textbook to which it belongs. Exercises that are more challenging and exceed the B1 level are marked with a plus sign. These are intended for alternative use primarily for students with a native Slavic language or for motivated students. All instructions are in Czech only. Most exercises have solutions in the key at the end of the publication. The workbook is therefore suitable for both classroom work and self-study. The publication also offers a variety of texts with tasks that prepare students for mastering the reading comprehension part of the Certified Czech Language Exam at the B1 level or for the Citizenship Exam. At the end of each lesson, there is again a page dedicated to spelling, particularly the writing of i and y in specified words in this volume. – Two-color photographs and illustrations.
