Čeština expres 1 (A1/1) ukrajinská – Holá Lída (2015)

The publication Czech Express 1 covers half of level A1 (A1/1), thus representing the first part of the basic course "Czech for Survival." It meets the requirements of the Common European Framework of Reference and is intended for beginners who want to quickly achieve language level A1. In seven practically oriented lessons, those interested in Czech will learn to navigate and respond in basic communication situations (e.g., topics like Introduction, Orientation, My Family, When Shall We Meet, etc.). The teaching focuses on mastering speaking and listening skills. Czech grammar is maximally simplified here, and students largely discover it themselves with the help of texts and clear tables. Czech Express 1 consists of two parts: a monolingual, Czech-written textbook, which includes a workbook, and an Appendix with vocabulary, grammar tables, and explanations that facilitate the understanding of Czech in the student's native language. The textbook is supplemented by a wealth of colorful photographs and original illustrations, including popular comics. Links to free online recordings.
