The second section, In the Community of Angels, brings readers to the cradle of monasticism. Five reports from various monasteries illustrate the lifestyle, spiritual rhythm, and cultural significance of places where heaven meets earth. The third part, A New Temple is Being Built, shows the contemporary face of the Coptic Church. Four modern temples in different environments – from the metropolis to the rocky landscape – demonstrate how ancient spirituality finds new forms and spaces.
