Description
In the settlement of Koloredov, there were numerous processing enterprises and other economic facilities at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries, where local small entrepreneurs found their place, significantly engaging in the development of proto-industrialization in the region. The work gradually addresses fulling mills, cloth mills, a distillery, an inn, a tavern, a Jewish dining hall, a tannery, a potash factory, a blacksmith's shop, and bread huts. All these enterprises were under the lordship, and therefore, a relatively extensive agenda has been preserved for all of them, consisting mainly of correspondence between the lordship offices and the tenants (lessees). The predominantly documentary agenda provides an interesting insight into the everyday needs of small entrepreneurs in the proto-industrial region of Frýdecko-Místecko.
