Description
The book presents a selection from the works of the prominent Serbian Orthodox theologian of the 20th century, Justin Popović (also known as St. Justin of New Celje). The Czech reader will receive a representative sample of the themes that Popović discusses in his works: from the teaching on the God-Man and the Church, through ecumenism and criticism of the West, to discussions on Dostoevsky and St. Sava. There are also excerpts from his dogmatic writings, articles, excerpts from books on ecclesiology and ecumenism, sermons, and even essays of a poetic nature. The volume is introduced by a preface from Prof. Bogdan Lubardić of the Orthodox Theological Faculty in Belgrade and a study on Justin Popović by the ecumenical theologian, translator, and editor of this selection, Zdenko Širka.
