Description
The exhibition catalog "Paths of Czech Science" presents twelve stops on topics from the history of natural sciences in the Czech lands. It connects specific areas and selected stories of scientific knowledge that took place within them. It illustrates twelve stops in the form of chapels with an inner niche and artistically designed dioramas. These are symbolic stops in space and time, providing space for reflection, for finding connections, and for bringing events to the present. The introductory sections place the solutions in a broader context of the exhibitions on the history of science and dioramas as an artistic-educational medium. The exhibition also serves to promote twelve trails available as applications for mobile devices and is part of the Living Map project implemented at the Faculty of Science of Charles University with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic.
