Timely pedagogical diagnosis in areas that influence a child's school success is crucial for supporting their development. The presented book presents the results of a two-year survey focused on school readiness and the postponement of school attendance. The introductory part of the book provides a comparison of diagnostic options in preschool age not only in the Czech Republic but also abroad (USA, Germany, Poland, Austria). A large part of the book is dedicated to analyzing the results from the authors' own testing of children in the area of school readiness using the diagnostic tool iSophi. The authors of the book further describe the functionality, usability, and appeal of this diagnostic tool, both from the perspective of kindergarten teachers and preparatory class teachers, as well as from the perspective of parents. / The overviews record not only the results of the children but also the views of the parents and mutual comparisons.
