Description
With the collection Coffee for H. (Kitchen Review), the author concludes a trilogy that includes the period when she delved back into the theory of Henri Bremond and allowed it to influence her (The Match of Henri Bremond 2016, Holidays with Henri 2017). She does not rediscover the discovered; she follows Bremond's line, significantly articulated in our country by Vítězslav Nezval, who understood metaphor as one of the measures of the value of poetry, the absence of a logical message as a legitimate outcome of a poem. The author aims for Bremond's defined concept to take root, to strengthen awareness of the historical roots of contemporary poetry, elevated primarily by metaphor, which was innovatively applied nearly two hundred years ago in the work of the founder of modern Czech poetry, Karel Hynek Mácha.
