Cyklus Zrcadlo 4 - Ostrý dráp – Ringo John (2013)

Until the music stops playing, it is definitely not over... The Vorpal Blade sets out to investigate information obtained from the Hexosehros, allied aliens, regarding unclear reports about an ancient and powerful civilization, from which the creators of the "black box" that powers the only Earth spaceship might have originated. Essentially, any pieces of equipment or technology would be useful, but what the Vorpal Blade finds far exceeds the expectations of even the greatest optimists. Much worse is that the ship has been infested by an alien species of spider-like scorpions that could wipe out an entire planet. And worst of all, Captain William Weaver is no longer the astrogator but the executive officer, and he is definitely not getting along well with the new ship's commander. And the new ship's commander is not getting along well with Weaver, the ship's linguist, or the rest of the original crew. And what does that strange sound that echoes through the ship during every sharp maneuver actually mean? The crazy geniuses aboard the Blade will, of course, eventually solve everything. And Dreen will not like the answers to these questions!
