The blessing of long life and health guarantees everyone a life free from disease and in full strength, the blessing of prosperity gives a new dimension to the saying about the golden Czech hands, the curse of the dishonest brings punishment to anyone who commits a crime, and the protective curse ensures the country's safety from external attacks. The Czech Republic stood firm in the Second Czech War. Power is taken over by Jan Rener, a young and progressive mage. He expands the territory of the state, establishes new international relations, and ends the magical terror of the population. He is popular and successful. It seems that under his rule, the country is entering a golden age. Yet, he must face an unexpected attack when a murder occurs right in the capital. With the help of his brother Nathaniel, he tries to find the perpetrator and restore the curse of the dishonest, while enemies are closing in on the Czech Republic from all sides, sensing its weakness.
