Description
Thornel originally intended to go to the elves. However, he was persuaded to spend one more winter in Thonnierice and work for the young king. He thought – and he said so himself – that one winter in Thonnierice wouldn't kill him. He had no idea how difficult it would be. The city is under attack from unknown saboteurs, and Thornel must follow their trail. He searches for witnesses, asks questions, and investigates both the streets and old documents. He must become a detective in a world where the detective profession has not yet been invented. "Winter in Thonnierice" is a standalone book and also a loose sequel to the novel "Cuckoo Chicks."
