Description
The second half of the twenty-third century, two hundred years after the Apocalypse. After a long period of chaos, cannibalism, and local wars, the Century of Peace has begun, lasting for five years now. A trio of heroes sets out to various corners of devastated Europe: cyborg soldier Oggerd, technologist Hal Hargo, and negotiator Gowery Fink. They are tasked with exploring the so-called "shards of the Apocalypse," technological remnants of the old world. Sometimes they find themselves caught up in the games of powerful interest groups, and other times they must rectify their own transgressions. These are their three stories: "The Law of the Pack," "The Rhine Sieve," and "Cat Flaps."
