Description
Arvelian Unconscious: the twenty-year period following the transfer of an aging person into a newborn, during which the transferred individual does not recall their previous lives. It ensures the proper development of the brain of the new body while protecting the adult personality from the psychological burden associated with living in the shell of a child. It allows the transferred individual to gain insight into the world unburdened by past experiences, thus facilitating the acceptance of a new era and societal and technological changes. Konstantyn Lance has experienced the Arvelian unconscious for the fifty-fifth time, and it is no easier for him than the first. Along with millennia of experience and memories, he awakens to the realization that the fate of two civilizations, Arvela and the Territories, fighting over dwindling resources, lies in his hands. Queen Reina of Arvela doubts to what extent Konstantyn is still human and whether he will be willing to save humanity, and thus she prepares a trap. Meanwhile, in the Territories, dictator Illya Larsson is seizing power. His actions could easily disrupt the carefully prepared plan. A standalone novel.
