Description
The book begins with a three-part story "Bunraku," in which Usagi finds himself in the midst of a puppet drama where the characters are not what they seem! Following that, the long-eared ronin returns to his roots in the episode "Hero" and becomes the yojimbo (bodyguard) of a famous writer, whom he must protect on her journey back to her hometown. To celebrate the thirty-fifth anniversary of the series, Stan Sakai has decided to return to Usagi's very first adventure "The Goblin of Adachigahara," which he has expanded into a full-length issue, offering a new perspective on well-known characters and events. In the final story "The Swords of the Higashi Clan," Usagi reunites with bounty hunters Gene and the Stray Dog, who have taken on the task of returning the Higashi clan's lost family treasure.
