Description
The story of the comic takes place a hundred years before the events of George R. R. Martin's epic fantasy A Song of Ice and Fire. After taking up the sword and shield of his fallen lord, young Duncan (or Dunk) is determined to make a name for himself as a knight. He is fortunate – a tournament featuring the greatest knights is being held nearby. However, to enter, he needs someone to vouch for the unknown warrior... and that proves to be more complicated than it initially seemed. In the world of the Seven Kingdoms, there is no shortage of suspicion, enemies, betrayal, violence, adventure... but also friends with hidden agendas. One such friend is Egg – a squire who has joined Duncan and has his own secrets.
