Description
Imagine that there are beings called death note keepers. Each of them owns a notebook, in which if they write someone's name and envision their face, that person dies. The use of the notebook is governed by a whole series of precisely defined rules, and only its rightful owner can kill with its help. However, nowhere does it state that a human cannot become the owner of the notebook... And so one day, one of these notebooks ends up in the hands of a boy named Light Jagami, an exceptionally intelligent and gifted young man who, influenced by his father, a police chief, is preparing for a career in criminal justice. The found notebook offers him a very tempting shortcut to self-proclaimed justice.
