Description
The powerful sword Kusanagi – "Blade of the Grass" – forged by the gods of feudal Japan, has a long and bloody history. For many centuries, it passed from hand to hand, determining the fates of people, until it was finally laid to rest in the Atsuta Shrine. However, the sword stored in the shrine is actually a replica meant to confuse those who would use it as a pawn on the political chessboard. The real sword remains in the possession of the warrior monk Sanshobo, who knows he cannot hide it forever. He therefore entrusts the rabbit ronin Miyamoto Usagi with the task of returning the ancient weapon to its rightful resting place before it falls into the wrong hands. Usagi, facing betrayal and deception at every turn, must embark on a dangerous journey to the Atsuta Shrine and outpace two rival ninja clans that will stop at nothing in their quest to obtain the sword and harness its divine power.
