Description
Sometimes even the god of thunder encounters opponents he simply cannot handle. Like the undead Vikings who, after a thousand years of wandering, have landed in Manhattan and started plundering. To have a chance, he must assemble a team of blood-bound warriors from various historical epochs. But is a Viking warrior, a fanatical crusader, and a Nazi pilot enough to stop the undead threat? Although the comic is being released just as the movie Thor is set to hit theaters, the Vikings are not an adaptation of the film. This Thor was published as part of the more mature MAX series (from which, for example, Punisher is currently being released), written by one of the most distinctive comic creators, Garth Ennis (Preacher, Punisher), and brilliantly illustrated by the famous Glenn Fabry (covers for Preacher, Neverwhere).
