The author Fušer is indeed the son of a prominent Moravian poet, but he never planned his own writing career, not even secretly. Metoděj Holub (real name Mikuláš Křepelka, born 1977) studied law and social policy, but immediately after graduation, he began to realize his potential in one of the large DIY stores in Brno as a sales assistant in the lighting department. Over twenty years, he climbed the career ladder to a managerial position and began to drown his frustration with the world in his favorite pub, U Poutníka. Through sharp ironic jabs, he started sharing his observations and micro-stories from work for a group of friends on Facebook. His raw, humorous, and authentic style immediately captivated, thrilled, and somewhat frightened me; the result is this book. As a producer, I also perceive the explosive potential that Fušer could have in cinema or on television. It's rough, but it's funny.
