Description
This is a reminder of the fifty years of existence of the Činoherní studio in Ústí nad Labem. The stage was created during the intense normalization period on the ruins of the politically abolished Kladivadlo. The Činoherní studio soon established itself as an extraordinarily vibrant theater with a distinctive dramaturgy and the ability to attract especially young audiences. The original dramaturgy, directing, and acting style have been maintained even after the fall of the communist regime. The life stages of the "Činoherák" are presented to readers not only through texts mapping the development but also through interviews with creators and witnesses, as well as nostalgic contributions and testimonies.
