Description
Lubor Vyskoč is not an author who experiments at all costs or strives for something new. He is aware of his poetic voice and adheres to it; his poetics is a solid structure, a safe space. In his texts, he carefully maps his life and reflections on it as a priority. Some poems have the character of diary entries or messages for friends and loved ones – from the language of lyrical images, a completely civil request, reassurance, or statement sometimes emerges. In dialogue with the poet's clearly declared Christianity, his poetics also contains a spiritual tone that evokes classical Asian poetry.
