The fourth collection by Petr Čichoň after fourteen years. Its character continues the previous collections, particularly the poems from Pruský balad/Preussische Balladen, for which he was nominated for the Dresden Lyric Prize in 2004. Borderline Frau also includes translations of poems, not only into German but also into Central European languages, Hebrew, Arabic, and ancient Babylonian cuneiform. The collection contains 57 poems and 13 translations. Petr Čichoň accompanies his poetry recitations with a lute and, as the first Czech poet, included a CD in his poetry collection (Villa Diabolica, 1998 Host). He thus continued the tradition of the well-known edition of the Československý spisovatel publishing house: the Poetry Friends Club, which published poetry books with a gramophone record. The new collection by the poet is again supplemented with an audio medium, this time a vinyl record featuring the author's set to music poems. The studio recording includes ten poems set to music and recited by the author, always in a bilingual version, for example, Czech-Hebrew. The recordings were made in a music studio; they are not just a recording of a poetry performance. Thematically, Borderline Frau is different from the author's previous books.
