Description
Roman Ráž – these are poems, short stories, novellas, novels, and perhaps most importantly, plays for theater and radio. The author, whose poetics are rooted in the innovative dynamics of the sixties and mature in the open space of the post-revolutionary decades, does not write to write, but to report. About the fundamental situation of a person in the twentieth century: about their pleasures and pains, about their weaknesses and strengths, about their past, present, and perhaps even future. Tragedy is balanced here by grotesque, and existential ultimately becomes essential. With a great writer, it cannot be otherwise.
