Carpathia – Krajňak Maroš (2015)

The author meticulously and slowly examines the history and present of the space defined by the title, which was swept by a world war that fundamentally marked its inhabitants. A world where lived reality intertwines with the mythical and paramythical is inhabited by people endowed with otherworldly qualities. The narrator encounters them on his existential journey to his own roots, but above all, he meets himself and tries to find his own place in this beautiful yet ruthless world.
