This Czech-language publication examines several more or less misguided paths taken by science in its relationship with magic. It first presents two biophysical theories, followed by a philosophical speculation, psychophysical theories and a study of the ideas of Ernst Schertel, which, among the concepts presented here, are the only ones to have retained their validity to a considerable extent. The study concludes with two appendices: the first conveys the ideas of hygienist Eduard Reich, while the second draws attention to the overlooked Czech hermeticist Jan Iglauer. Through these examples, the author shows that many scientific theories are eventually abandoned and forgotten, relegated to the field of pseudoscience or replaced by other theories. The book is intended for spiritually minded occultists and scientists, as well as anyone interested in the history of human knowledge.
