Description
In 1928, a half-dead, ragged boy of about ten years old, who does not speak, appears in the garden of the Parisian sculptor Paul Landowski's house. A kind family takes the child in, and the boy, who later introduces himself to his foster parents as Bo D'Apliese, literally blossoms under their care, yet he guards the secret of his origins for many years. Bo grows up with the Landowskis into an educated young man, studies at the prestigious Conservatoire de Paris, and falls in love with a charming Jewish girl named Elle. However, clouds of Nazism begin to gather over Europe, and a specter from Bo's past, from which he once fled, looms over him... ********** In 2008, the seven D'Apliese sisters meet aboard the luxury yacht Titan, which will set sail for the Aegean Sea to pay their last respects to their deceased father, a mysterious man whom they deeply loved. The six adopted daughters, Maia, Ally, Star, CeCe, Tiggy, and Electra, meet for the first time his only biological daughter, their lost sister Merope. Thanks to her, they can all read their father's diary, in which some mysteries surrounding their beloved dad are finally revealed. Some of those shocking secrets seem to stretch across decades and influence their current fates... ********** The conclusion of the Seven series...
