Description
Millie Werber kept secret from her loved ones her experiences during World War II, the suffering she endured, and how she found her love in the darkest days. In 1942, while already living in the ghetto, she married her great love Heniek at the age of sixteen. For a time, they managed to avoid transports to Auschwitz, although the hungry life in the ghetto and forced labor in a machine factory were exhausting. However, drastic events eventually occurred – a Jewish conspiracy in which Heniek and other members of the girl's family participated. Someone, however, betrayed the conspirators, and they all faced the concentration camp Auschwitz...
