Description
Twelve-year-old Emily is moving again. This time to San Francisco, the home of her literary idol, the creator of the popular online game 'Book Hunt,' Garrison Griswold. In this game, books are hidden all over the country, and the clues to find them are encrypted and carefully concealed. Emily soon discovers that Mr. Griswold has been attacked and lies in a coma, and no one knows anything about the amazing new game he was about to launch. When Emily befriends a boy from the neighborhood, James, they together discover a strange book. It apparently belonged to Griswold, and the clues from it lead to a valuable treasure. However, Emily and James are not the only ones interested in this hidden treasure. So they must quickly decipher the codes that Griswold managed to leave behind before his attack – and find not only their reward but also the scoundrels trying to eliminate the game's creator.
