Fishing is a privilege. A privilege that you must earn and can enjoy from a young age. Why do we become fishermen? Is it an ancient hunter's instinct, or is it simply a passion? Perhaps both. But whatever the reason, fishing is never just about the fish. It's also about nature and being in it. Fishing is about many adventures and surprises, coincidences, incredible scenery, and unforgettable experiences. A fisherman is a hunter. A hunter with the right to decide the life and death of the fish they catch. A fisherman must also be a steward and think about the future. In the past, we made many mistakes. Fish can no longer reach their spawning grounds in many rivers, and without regular stocking, the rivers would be nearly empty. It's time to start valuing what we have and strive to preserve this wealth for our children and grandchildren.
