Police officer Manfred Olsson, along with Malin and other colleagues, is investigating brutal murders suspected to have a drug-related background. The victims are severely mutilated after their deaths, with all their bones broken. The investigation into the murders is very complicated, and Manfred decides to seek help from psychologist Hanne, who has unparalleled skills in creating psychological profiles of perpetrators. The officer is also in a difficult life situation - his two-year-old daughter Nadja falls out of a window and ends up in a coma, a moment that seems to predestine the rest of his life. Eighteen-year-old Samuel becomes entangled in the murder investigation. He finds himself in the middle of a drug trade, and everything around him is collapsing, leaving him no choice but to flee. With nowhere to go, pursued by both the police and drug dealers, he desperately needs to hide. He ends up near Stockholm as an assistant to the severely disabled son of a wealthy family. The father is constantly traveling, but the mother is kind and also very attractive. However, strange things begin to happen in the old house.
