V lesním ráji – Mráz Igor (2015)

"Wildlife is the wealth of this planet. Just leaf through a book of unique photographs of our wildlife, and you will be pleasantly surprised by the variety of colors and the diversity of unique forms of God's creations that nature has bestowed upon us, which we have inherited from our ancestors and received not as a gift, but on lease for that tiny little spot in Central Europe. We should value it appropriately and approach the protection of these living jewels with great seriousness. Otherwise, we do not deserve them. May the beautiful images of wildlife evoke feelings of bliss in you, may the captured fleeting moments from the animal kingdom tune you to positive thinking, and may they instill in you a sense of responsibility for preserving such beauty!" The author of these lines has experienced much in the forest and has also been a keen listener to his friends, foresters, gamekeepers, and hunters. He managed to capture it masterfully, making reading his stories and experiences a true pleasure. As a perfect connoisseur of nature, he was able to characterize its inhabitants accurately. Our task remains to complement his observations with interesting photographs. Unfortunately, Igor Mráz will not see the illustrated book. But the stories in his several dozen books live on. And that is good.
