Description
In the Czech borderlands, a number of significant changes in the settlement of this territory occurred after World War II. The book addresses the search for territorial identity among the inhabitants who came to the North Bohemian borderlands (today's Euroregion Nisa) after 1945 and have remained there. The concept of identity as a dimension of self-awareness in the world surrounding a person is examined in the book based on the analysis and interpretation of biographical interviews with people from the oldest generation of post-war settlers in the border area.
