Staré pověsti české – Jirásek Alois (2024)

Thirty-five legends collected and fictionalized by Alois Jirásek are divided into three sections: Old Czech Legends, Legends of the Christian Era, and From Ancient Prophecies. Here, among other things, we read about the forefather Czech, Krok and his daughters, Přemysl, as well as Libuše's prophecies, old Prague, or pieces of the magician Žito and the life of the Kutná Hora miners.
