Description
The new installment of the book series Players of the Fifth Indigo is a story on the level of climbing a five-thousand-meter mountain in a very short time. Physically and factually, it's an impossible feat. Our main heroine Bobina – Bó has managed it, though. From being the top student in school and a silver medalist in the junior girls' judo at the European Championships, she has transformed into a gambler, a thug, an alcoholic, and a heartless monster within a few months. Forbes is destroying her life. Her personal relationships at all levels have reached almost negative perfection. The insatiable gambling medium drives her to daily acts that precisely document the gradual decline of a young person's personality. She may not know what to do, but she knows for sure that school is not the answer – and suddenly, fun, gaming, and the feeling of an unfulfilled life take precedence. The teenager Bó despises everything, even the value system that her mother warmly recommended to her just before her death. She mocks the warnings of the old master Viking and Bábushka; they are just a joke to her. The house in Vindrholci is silent and gapes with spiritual emptiness. All attempts by its inhabitants, friends, and guardian Dr. Patrik are in vain. The bomb is as hard as a piece of concrete. It pays no heed to anything. The only goal for her is to acquire money, at any cost.
