Description
The third part of the book series 'Players', 'Rabúni', takes on another dimension that has so far been hidden in hints from the previous two parts. The reader learns more secrets and sharp stories that befall the student Bobina, aka Gamba. Her friendship with classmate Háčka begins to crumble, as does her family relationship with grandfather Viktor and grandmother Klára. The young girl occasionally encounters life in its complete nakedness. She feels the first drops of hatred forming within her, and thus seeks escape routes. Ever since the concentration in Hradec, she has been accompanied by a mysterious priest from the Church of the Holy Spirit. After a traffic accident, Žorža becomes disabled and Petr goes mad. Bóó, as she is often called, horrifies herself by realizing that in the span of a few days, she could have died twice. With a grand gesture, she tosses aside playing on machines, but it is not that simple; the gambling passion is often stronger than resolutions and promises.
