Description
The author cares for those who are mentally suffering and seriously ill, who have lost faith in recovery after their illness returned following successful conventional treatment. His clients, primarily middle-aged, are often long-term stressed, for example, in partnerships, in their professions, or due to failures in improving the world, their loved ones, and closest ones. He also works with healthy and older individuals who were already satisfied with their profession, their children, and partners in middle age, living day by day and settling for what fell into their laps. They only changed themselves for the better, which the author does not consider to be such hard work. PhDr. Petr Novotný studied clinical psychology and psychophysiology at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University in Prague. He is the author of several books, including The Philosophy of Illness, The Illness of Good People – Cancer, Too Smart Illnesses, and The Secret of Hypnosis. Together with oncologist Prof. MUDr. Miloš Pešek, CSc., he wrote the publications Save Your Life and From Cancer Diagnosis to Recovery.
